About Us

 Erica Matteson started Renaissance Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals, LLC in July of 2001 as Renaissance Doulas. Believing that group care was the best way to support families she networked with other professional doulas and by 2004 there were six women supporting clients. In 2005 Erica started looking for a business partner. Deana Andersen-Tennant, local multiple & preemie specialist fit the role perfectly.
Group care with RCPP is complete doula support for pregnancy, birth & postpartum. We support mothers on bed rest, during childbirth, and after baby comes. With group care we back each other up and are able to guarantee coverage. We have a much diversified group and are able to support many different birth & parenting choices. Becoming a new family is a natural, wondrous process, and one in which we have the utmost confidence. We respect our client's decisions and wishes; our goal is to see those become a reality.
Pregnancy, childbirth and those first few months are unforgettable. Our goal is to give clients the nurturing and support they need to feel confident. Our group strives to turn a time of coping into a time of joy. |
